The Tee Markers are now all in ready for boxing up for concrete.

A big thank you to our ladies’ garden committee for keeping the gardens weeded and maintained.  Watch this space.

KD has been spreading soil on new cart path surrounds ready for seeding. Cheers KD.

The Greenkeepers are working on tee blocks at the moment, spiking and sanding. Your patience is appreciated.

John Holloway has been maintaining boundary pegs. Thanks John.

Big shout to the Ladies Thursday sewing bee, making changing rooms fresher and brighter.

Kudos to Rod Murray, who is retiring his mowing spot. We say a big thanks for his voluntary work.

The Green Fingers Group
Lynda Smith is leading a group of keen gardeners, who are working with our greenkeepers to keep our gardens looking good. The staff do all the spraying and digging, so there is only light work to be done by the volunteers. Lynda has worked out a schedule, and it is mainly being done on Monday and Thursday afternoons, for about 2 hours. If you are interested in helping, contact Lynda on 027 223 5246. Many hands make light work!

New Squab Covers in the Ladies Locker Room
Lynda is also leading a group of dedicated ladies drafting, cutting and sewing together new squab covers for the Ladies Locker Room. There was an impressive array of sewing machines, cutting tables and overlockers in the clubrooms yesterday!

Thank you to all who were involved; Pauline Page, Elaine Gavin, Cherry Reehal, Rae Milne, Barbara Atkin, Lynda Middleton, and a huge thank you to Lynda Smith, for initiating the project, purchasing the fabric and organising the working bee.

Twlight
Pink Leow

Another sunny evening enjoyed by a full field playing “Special Threes” format. Three holes with Stableford points added together, three holes multiplied together and three holes best points score only. Some good scoring with the winners, Jeff and Jamie Warren, amassing a total of 41 points. Jeff and Jamie have now opened up an early 4 point lead at the top of the season long leader board. They took home a $30 petrol voucher each, courtesy of Mike Deane Motors. An excellent performance also from Alison and Howard North who came in with a total of 40 points closely followed by Peter Cooke and Jacqui Pittendreigh with 39 points. The latest season long leaderboard can be found here.

Brittany and Ana were busy again in the kitchen and Jenny Davies was the lucky winner of the complimentary meal.

Sleeves of Titleist golf balls were won for nearest the pin - thanks to PaR n.z. Golfing Holidays, who also supplied a selection of Titleist golf caps for the lucky draw prizes. Winners of the longest putt prizes each received a cooler bag (ready for summer) courtesy of OneStaff Recruitment. As always the meat packs from Bethlehem Butchery were very popular prizes. It was great to see the club room full of a happy bunch of players.
