Today was a relaxed play day. 3x3x3 pairs event.

First 3 holes each pair multiplied their stableford points, second 3 holes ADD the pairs stablefords and the last 3 holes, take the best stableford.

It was a fun event and would have been enjoyed more were it not for the wind and the cold!!!

Back nine winners:  Lyn Harrison & Allson North with a whopping 41 pts!!

Front nine winners:  Astrid Martin & Diana O"Brien

                                      Debbie Hardacker & Trish Fecklington with 31 pts.

For all those who find themselves in a precarious situation on the golf course and wondering "do I play it safe, or should I risk this shot?".... here's a quote to remember:

A combination of decent weather and, to a lesser degree  I suspect, the scheduled AGM saw a field of close to 90 head out.

Welcome back to the board room and congrats to our new Chairman Scotty Gwynne. Also the returning committee members and new additions Steve Weatherley and Alan Thomson.

Also many thanks to Steven Ellingford for the huge commitment he put in over the past two years and during an interupted programme that made his tenure much more challenging that the norm. Out with those clubs now Steve.

This is my last contribution as well but I have enjoyed bringing results and other aspects of golfing life to you.

The last qualifying round is 25^th October and the FINALS being played on WEDNESDAY 8^TH NOVEMBER.  If you make the final field you need to confirm beforehand that you are available to play in the final.
