We now prepare for our 9 hole tournament to be held next Thursday. We have a full field of 80 players and now just hope the weather plays ball.....

My quote this week reflects the camaraderie we have amongst our lady players.

"The only way to get better, is to surround yourself with people who believe in you"

Happy golfing everyone.

Men’s Nine Hole Golf, Thursday 21st September

A game format of Better Ball Stableford  is rarely played but it can produce surprising results when two players comprise ‘the team’. Really good scores were recorded with winning Pairs closely grouped.

What a great day we had for our Spring Fling pairs tournament!

Lots of ladies dressed up in their Spring gear, and everyone seemed to have a fun day playing the 6x6x6 format. The clubrooms looked very colourful and flowery, Brittany produced lovely food and the wonderfully put together raffles were a big hit. The committee, and other volunteers, did a great job at putting the tournament together and running it, but special mention must go to Elaine Gavin and Jo Jory for doing a lot of the work, and leading the team.

A special thank you must also go to our generous sponsors, Golf Girl, and Annabel Reyes at Tall Poppy Real Estate.
