Wednesday Results – Recap
Div 1

Ken Joyce                         36

Div 2
Andrew Park                     40
John Aldridge                    40
Rod Brown                         37
Some top scoring there so maybe that’s reflective of the later start time and the additional half hour either spent in bed or on the practice fairway. Great round from Keith Roberts – playing off an 8 and bettering his age to boot. Excellent achievement.

Pennants
Two weeks ago, our Men's Championship and Intermediate Teams were both beaten in the Bay wide Semi-finals. The Championship Team lost to a very strong Omanu side 1-5. Neil Howard completed an outstanding season with another win.

The Intermediate side also lost 1-5, to Lakeview, with Don Howard, ( our newly crowned Intermediate Strokeplay Champion) having the only win.

Throughout the season a number of players had their first Interclub experience, so we should have a good pool of competitors for next year. The rule change to playing only singles this season meant matches were concluded by early afternoon.

On Tuesday Jessie had a round of 90, in the ladies’ unofficial haggle, and considering she is now 90 years and 1 month, I think she broke her age!
Awesome effort Jessie.
