There have been many questions about the scaffold.  We have a historical leak in the office that needs to be fixed.

Pennants
On Sunday our senior team was beaten 4-2 by Mount Maunganui.  Andy Pratt and Jordan Shaw had good wins.

The Intermediates drew 3-3 with Tauranga with Ed Davies, Hugh Clark and David Hughes winning their matches.  Playing in the number 1 spot, Ed showed some Namibian fortitude to be 1 down with 3 holes to play, and then to win on the last.

The Juniors continued their fine form with a 4-2 wi n over the Mount.  Vince Stanaway won 7 & 6, Mick Charlton won 5 & 4, And Pete Stallard won 2 & 1.  Dave Woods and Richard Hall halved their matches.

This Sunday our intermediates and juniors are playing at Fairview

QUADS UPDATE
Many thanks for the positive responses received. Last check we had 24 names down for the initial round being played 6th March @ Tauranga. Teams are up to 25 so still a chance to contact Ian Howells and add your name to the field.

BOP VETS
Omokoroa hosting this event, this coming Monday . Al Thomson has arrangements well in hand and there will be a field in excess of 100 players from throughout the region participating. For those involved, the draw should be, or is already to hand. Be a top chance to present our course to a wide network – and hopefully the weather will play it’s part as well.

Twilight Update
Pink Leow

Another full field of 104 players enjoyed a lovely warm and sunny evening on Wednesday. With a few regulars away on various travels, it was lovely to see a few new faces in the field. The competition format was “Three Tees” - with Ladies teeing off White, Yellow and Red tees , while the men teed off Blue, White and Yellow tees.

With the course having dried out and the rough now back to the normal length, the scoring was particularly good. Winners on the night were Sue and Daryl Muir with a combined stableford total of 44 points and they received the 2 x $30 petrol vouchers courtesy of Mike Deane Motors. They were closely followed by Gae Stevenson and Glenda Gourley, and Jeff and Jamie Warren both of whom scored 43 points. This has moved Jeff and Jamie to the top of the season long leaderboard - click here to see the full leaderboard. Nearest to the pin winners were Liz Woods, Sue Thomson, Tom Hansen and Swampy - who all received a sleeve of Titleist golf balls  from Par nz Golfing Holidays.

Brittany and Ana were busy in the kitchen serving up over 70 meals - Roast lamb and roast chicken with scalloped potatoes, a variety of salads served with breads and rolls. David Ashton was the lucky winner of the complementary meal courtesy of Brittany.

Weather permitting there are now three more Twilight evenings with the season planned to complete on March 15th
