Pairs Tournament
Very disappointing for all concerned that the 3 day Tournament needed to be cancelled.  But in the context of what has occurred in other parts of the country we were extremely fortunate.  In that the damage was relatively limited and we were able to access the course again so quickly.

There must have been a lot of additional work involved in preparing  the course, removal debris and the constant mowing etc and our thanks to those involved.

Tournament Refunds
Refer Steve’s recent email regarding action required to access your entry fee refund.

Vets Quads
Thanks to those who have already responded to this week’s survey seeking expressions of interest in competing in this year’s event. If you haven’t as yet replied it would assist us in confirming the level of interest if you could do by this Sunday .

Twilight Update
Pink Leow

A hot, sunny and windy day on Wednesday dried the course out enough to allow the Twilight competition to go ahead in the evening. The competition format was “Russian Roulette” and there was some pretty good scoring. Winners on the night were Jeff and Jamie Warren with a total of 42 points, closely followed by Dawn and Steve Rumney who scored 40 points. Steve Rumney shot an excellent 38 off the stick.

This has moved Jeff and Jamie Warren to the top of the season long Leaderboard with 14 points, alongside Allan Winter and Allan Hoskins. These 2 teams are closely followed by Chris Lynch and Peter Kilpatrick and also Liz Woods and Billie Jo Simmons on 12 points. You can see the full leader board here.

Nearest to pin winners were Wendy Harris, Lynda Smith, Mike Keir and Jamie Warren. They all won a small sleeve of Titleist golf balls, courtesy of PaR n.z. Golfing Holidays.
