Weather
What can I say?  Everyone has seen the news... this weather is unprecedented.  Apart from half the course for half a day, we have been closed for a week now.  Believe me, the staff are as frustrated as the golfers are!  The course is still very wet, especially the greens and surrounds.  The difficult part is that we are just not getting any extended time to let the course dry!

The good news is... the back nine is going be be opened from 12pm today (unless we get another downpour!)

We are hopeful that we can open the whole course tomorrow.  As always, we try to update the website with course status by 730am daily.

Strategic Plan
The new plan was sent out to members earlier in the week.   For more information click here, or you can collect a hard copy from the office

Poplar Tree
There has been some questions about the fairway surrounding the poplar tree on the 10th.  It is not clear which is fairway or rough at the base of the tree, so golfers are not sure if they get a placing or not.  As a trial, the greenkeepers are going to try to make a clear line of rough around the tree.  The players group will be discussing the rule at their next meeting.
