Haggle Winners 30th Nov
Our Starter made a premature announcement of a return to Wednesday Haggle in good conditions. Personally, I played 7 and 8 by which stage a complete change was required to avoid an accusation of incontinence from my playing partners.

Play was abandoned by all players – eventually - and if Cricket’s “Duckworth Lewis” formula was used the winner and hard luck story would have been Fintan Downs who at that stage had racked up two 2’s.

But the silver lining is that our $5 entry goes towards next week’s Christmas Tournament entry fee.

Vet’s Quads Monday 12th
Being held at Omokoroa. Last look there were two places still available. Check Men's Locker Room if interested

BOP Vets Monday 5th December
Being hosted by Te Puke and we have a number of Omokoroa members participating. More details next week.

Christmas Tournament Wednesday 7th
A big day and top prizes promised.  Here’s hoping for some decent weather.

Stranger Danger
It has been reported that during this week’s Ladies Tournament , two men (presumably) dressed in Santa suits were seen approaching the players with offers of sweets, Christmas goodies and even alcohol. We can only assume as to their motives.

They were however photographed by a vigilant player who has posted the photo below.  Another player felt that she had also seen the same men at a recent Vets morning but this time disguised as golfers.

If you do recognise them perhaps contact Marcus at our Office
