Maintenance Week
The Greenkeepers and volunteers had a good week on the course and have done some great work.  It was challenging for them while the course was busy, hence the need to close the course on Thursday to get everything done on time.  

She Loves Golf
Following on from our very successful Ladies Beginner Program, we are doing it again, starting on 11 SEP.  If you have a friend who has always thought about starting golf, let them know about it.  It is filling very fast so don't delay!  Register in the office or at https://forms.gle/5TcE1JDB9UMC14ic6

Coaching with Jay
Jay Carter is running a couple of coaching clinics on Sundays in September.  Register in the office - Very limited space!!

9 Hole Men

On account of our home course being closed for the day at late notice, a small group of us adjourned to Fairview Country Club for our weekly fix.

Round 4 of our Stableford Cup competition will be postponed to a later date yet to be advised.  The weather was beautiful meaning there were no excuses for bad golf.  The few who took advantage deservedly captured the Haggle money.

The format was Stableford and the prizes went to:
Francois Richter-Visser on 20
Allan Winter and Alan Poore both on 18.
Congratulations gents on a great round.

We will be returning to our Competition Rounds at Omokoroa next week, I will advise which competitions by the end of the weekend.

Men's World

Annan Law Saturday Men's Club Day
The third round of the Club Strokeplay Championships will be played on Saturday. Those in the competition will play in groups according to their positions on the leaderboard. This is "moving day", so expect to see some sharp scoring. As usual there is a haggle in two divisions.

Pennants play-off
Our Championship team are in a promotion / relegation play- off against Lakeview this Sunday. They start at 8 a.m. at Omokoroa and would love some support if you want to watch the best players in our Club compete. Good luck guys.

Working Bee
Well done to those who helped at the working bee this week after a very short call up. We will try and give a bit more notice in future.

Eagles Halberg Event 
On Monday 10th October, the annual tournament to raise money for the Halberg Trust is being held at Omanu Golf Club. Check the notice board for details.

Entry sheet is in the office.    

You will play with the person of your choice as per the entry sheet. On the day, tournament partners will be drawn. You will probably not be drawn with you playing partner.
