Annan Law Saturday Men’s Club Day

Well after many weeks we have completed the Club Strokeplay Championships and the worthy winners found. The Senior Champion is Tyler King with Steven Wallace in 2nd and Denne Stewart in 3rd place. In the Intermediates, Ash Pennell lead through all four rounds and comfortably won from Darren Tumai and Jim Dunseath. The Junior division was keenly fought with Ian Duncalf winning from Jonathon Lewis and Gerald Scantlebury. George Griffin came out on top in the Presidents Grade with Swampy Marsh in 2nd place and Ross Gunn 3rd. Congratulations to you all. The winners and runners-up qualify to play in the Grand Slam Cup at the end of the year.

This Saturday we play the first round of the Captains Trophy which is the best 3 out of 4 stableford rounds. In the qualifying for the A-One Kitchens and Interiors Shootout we have 5 rounds left so fill your boots men!

Prize giving

Hopefully we can have our prize giving after play this week. Any prizes from the last few weeks can be collected from the starters before play. A number of players have asked for yellow balls as prizes, but the stocks are out in the country, so we only have white balls at present. We will have the yellow balls as soon as we can procure them.

Eagles Halberg Event

On Friday 15th October the Eagles are hosting a fun team event to help the Halberg Trust at the Omanu Golf Club. The Flyers with the information are in the Clubhouse, so check it out and enter.

Club Trundlers

Hugh Moleta and Steve Rumney have done a great job sorting out old trundlers and donated ones. They have painted them yellow and are available for people to use. Anyone with old trundlers, please give them to Steve or Hugh.
