Happy New Year! 
I hope 2026 brings you joy, peace, and plenty of great golf. Being a member at Omokoroa Golf Club means enjoying a community where camaraderie thrives, respect is the norm, and good old-fashioned sportsmanship is alive and well. 

Personally, I’m very excited about what the new year holds: 

• The opening of our new clubhouse 
• Ongoing course improvements 
• Even better service across all departments 

New Year’s Eve Tournament Recap 
Our final event of 2025 was a blast! The fun and challenging format really mixed things up—and so did the weather. Torrential rain, gale-force winds, and muggy heat made for a memorable last day of the year! I tried to capture some of it in photos, but as you know, pictures never tell the full story!  

Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to Club Captain Greig for creating such an interesting format and hosting the event.

2026 Omokoroa Open 

Date: 24-25 January 2026 

Format: Individual Nett, and optional team of four event 

• $95.00 Entry fee 
• Men White Tees 
• Women Yellow Tees 
• $15K in prizes 

The format for entering the Omokoroa Open is outlined below: 

1. Go to the Event Calendar on the Omokoroa Golf Club website to register and pay your individual entry. 
2. To enter a team, one team member will need to select “Yes” under Registration Options and pay the $100 team entry fee. 
3. Once registered, please email manager@omokoroagolf.co.nz to let Allan know who is in your team.
