Clubhouse Build Project Update

We’ve received a timeline update for the next phase of our build project. Please take note of the following key dates:

  • Monday 22 September – Delivery of the temporary admin office (Portacom). Office staff will begin moving items across.
  • Monday 29 September – The current clubhouse will be fenced off.
  • Tuesday 30 September – Power to the current clubhouse will be turned off. Power to the temporary facilities and new cart shed will be activated.
  • 6-10 October – Asbestos removal will take place. Areas will be screened off for health and safety.
  •  13-18 October – Demolition of the current clubhouse is scheduled.

Please Note:
There will be no weekly haggles from Tuesday 30 September to Friday 3 October due to the transition of power, water, and internet to the temporary facilities.

Heavy vehicles will be accessing the site as per the site map. Please park your vehicles in a safe location avoiding traffic areas.

Clubhouse Farewell Party

Don’t forget to RSVP for our Clubhouse Farewell Party on Friday 26 September from 4pm to 6pm.

Let’s give our beloved clubhouse the send-off it deserves!

Guess the Score

The “Guess the Score” was not struck—no surprises there! That result caught everyone off guard.

A Note on the Transition

As we move from our current clubhouse into temporary facilities over the next 3–4 weeks, we ask for your patience and understanding. This will be a challenging time for everyone, especially our hardworking staff.

  • The bar is packing away glasses—expect your beer in a can or bottle.
  • Once in the marquee, drinks will be served in plastic cups.
  • The temporary office will be small and may feel crowded, but the same friendly team will be there to assist you.

Please come to the club with a helpful and servant heart. A little kindness and support will go a long way in making this transition smooth and positive for all.

Thank you for being part of our wonderful community. We’re excited about the future and grateful for your continued support.

Warm regards,
Allan Botha

A Word Around The Greens
Nathan Kerr, Head Greenkeeper

A big thank you from the Greens team to all the volunteers that turned up on Monday to help with the storm damage that occurred last weekend, with many trees down and debris all over the golf course it was a big job to clean it all up, but many hands make light work and that definitely was the case with most of the clean up complete by Tuesday afternoon, thank you for the support.

We have started coring the fairways and have completed 6 fairways so far making good progress. This process will improve the turf quality and in a few weeks the results will show.

Enjoy the course and your golf and please have a word to the big fella to generously give us more settled weather.
