We have had an overwhelming response of members voting for the upcoming Board elections.  If you haven’t voted yet you can pop into the office or email us for your ballot papers.  Voting closes at 12 noon next Thursday 26 June.

If you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting at 7pm Thursday 26 June you can let us know in the office and we will put forward your apologies.

As National Volunteer Week comes to an end we wish to wholeheartedly thank our team of volunteers that make our club tick.  Our volunteers contribute a whopping 7,000 hours to making our club the success that it is.  That is worth celebrating!!

This week once again in fine weather we played Nett, Putting and LGU competitions.  With a field of 29 players our winning ladies did well.  Top nett scores with 32 went to Rohanne Hancock and Maggie Seavill jointly.   Putting winners were Pauline Thurston with 13 putts, followed by Debbie Hardaker with 14.  Maria Wragg, Janet Burmeister and Yvonne Hoskins received a ball for their putting.

On Wednesday, 18th June (78 players), the Mid Winter Christmas Stableford and Nett qualifying rounds took place for the Coffee Club shootout competition for both men and women. It was a perfect day for golf after three weeks of no play because of the weather. All the players went home with a prize off an extensive prize table.
