The Week Just Passed.
A good turnout of hardy golfers this week, despite the very heavy and wet underfoot conditions. I am not sure that in my six years as a member I have ever seen as much water lying on the fairways. Nathan told me on Wednesday that 180mm of rain had fallen in the last eight days!! It will take some great weather to dry the course out so take care of it please, on the greens, around the greens and on the fairways. In these conditions trundlers can also do damage.
