1. Carts are not to be driven within 10 metres of the greens
2. Carts are not permitted on the tees.
3. The use of carts is a privilege, NOT a right.
4. Wherever possible carts must use designated and formed pathways.
5. During winter months, carts are restricted to cart paths on all holes, where paths are provided.
6. Golf carts are not permitted to use the foreshore public walkway. The exceptions being when driving from the 7th green to the 8th tee, and the 17th green to the 18th tee. Walkway users must be given the right-of-way. 7. Twilight

We have 69 players this week and have had a lovely day for our 2nd round of Twilight. Some returned with good scores with the Russian Roulette format. 12 points on a hole is a good score but then followed by 1 point on the next hole can be disheartening. Not to mention 0 points when your partner didn’t score. We were treated to some fresh mussels, Brisket BBQ style and Chicken with salads and chips. Superb meals from Jarrod at $15.

Next Wednesday, 20th October Cards in by 4:45pm latest for 5pm Shotgun start. We will continue with the early start till the end of October.

Format for the day will be Combined Stableford but 5 Clubs only, which includes your Putter. You need to choose your clubs wisely. Jarrod will be serving Burgers, sausages and BBQ with salads and chips for $10. You have to be in the Club room for Lucky Draw prizes which has been a real treat for those who didn't do well in golf.

Foreshore Erosion and Public Walkway Grand Opening (31st October)

In celebration of the completion of the Foreshore Erosion and Community Walkway project, the Club will be holding an opening ceremony on Sunday, 31st October.

There will be a grand opening at the Foreshore at 9:30am with some VIP guests including the Mayor, local Iwi and financial supporters. This will be followed by morning tea at the club house and then a 9 Hole Ambrose golf event from approximately 10:30am. There will be a $5 Entry fee for the golf. Flyers for this event will be posted and there will be an Entry sheet in the office to give an idea of numbers. We would love to see all the playing groups participating to mark this very significant milestone in the Club’s history.
