After an amazing summer, we've had to trade some sunshine for a bit of wet weather. However, it's fantastic to see the club’s investment in drainage over the past few years really paying off. Thanks to the excellent work of our greenstaff, volunteers, and the board, those pesky puddles that used to linger are now gone the very next day - ensuring we can continue to enjoy golf at Omokoroa Golf Club, rain or shine.

We’re also excited to announce the very popular Ladies 18-Hole Autumn Tournament, happening on Sunday, May 18th. It’s a teams of four event with a 9:30 AM shotgun start. Entry is $120 per team, to be prepaid to the Omokoroa Golf Club account: 03 1355 0508772 03.
Please use your name (or team name) and “Autumn Tournament” as the reference.
Note: No entries will be accepted over the counter.

Once payment is made, please email info@omokoroagolf.co.nz with your team's player names and ID numbers to complete your registration.

Lastly, a member has reported the loss of an eternity ring, likely somewhere out on the course. It contains 5 or 6 diamonds. If found, please hand it in to the office.

Lastly, thank you for making me feel welcome here and I will be keeping an eye out on how the new clubhouse develops.  The club is entering an exciting time and the future looks very bright for the Omokroa Golf Club.

9 Hole Ladies
Yvonne Hoskins

This week we played the semi-finals in our Matchplay Championships.  The weather was NOT kind but a few brave souls managed to play.  We also had a stableford haggle for those not in the Matchplay.  Haggle winners today were Robyn Lamborn and Pauline Thurston.  Next week we are crossing our fingers for finer weather to play the finals.

Our interclub team is playing Te Puke at our home course on Monday.  Good luck ladies.
