The Week Just Passed.
Our deepest sympathies to Dawn, and family and friends of Peter. Peter Day sadly passed away recently after a period of illness. Peter was a popular member of the Vet’s Golfing Group and we will fondly remember his smile, his laugh and the occassional smart jibe around the clubhouse. Rest in peace Peter.

50 men and 8 ladies played on Wednesday under difficult circumstances. With wet and somewhat muddy conditions underfoot, the greenkeepers sought to protect the course and allowed carts on the back 9 only. A special thanks to all players for their understanding and cooperation on what turned out to be a difficult day for Captain Steve.
Good scores were few and far between and Ken Joyce (37pts) and John Holloway (37) were the only two players on the day to play to, or better their handicap. Ken naturally extended his lead in the Naked Meats Shootout.
